Lines and Extras

These superb-quality lines have become incredibly popular amongst fly anglers. The extended front and rear tapers and the long belly of the line gives tremendous distance and subtle presentation The low-diameter running line has less air resistance for increased line speed, easier mending and longer distance. The subtle, memory free coating irons out loops and makes for long, smooth casts and great line presentation. The floating lines come in heron grey or high-visibility orange. The dual colored intermediate/floating lines have a heron grey, intermediate sinking front section with a floating, high visibility, orange running line. The dual colour acts both as casting aid and as a bite indicator.

The XD series is similar to standard Platinum lines, but has been specially re-worked to make it a specialist distance line. It gives an extra five yards of length in the running line which experienced casters will find especially useful. The subtle tan colored head allows gentle, unobtrusive presentation whilst the high-visibility orange running line shows the optimum shooting point for long distance presentation. A modified taper, a hard, slick finish and the overall low diameter and suppleness of the line makes this is joy for long distance work.

Our Greylon backing has been designed to superior technical specifications offering a low stretch, fine diameter and excellent strength. The high visibility pink colour allows you to keep track of a big fish in the water, and the round profile of the backing ensures it won't knot or mildew and stoves perfectly on the spool.

Braided loops are by far the best way of securing any type of leader to your fly line and can also be used for connection between your fly line and backing.

Our tippet material is of the same high-grade co-polymer as the leaders.

Tippet spools are individually colour coded so you instantly recognise the diameter of the tippet you are seeking.

The spools are all designed to slot together into one handy, secure package. No more fumbling in tackle bags. Valuable time is saved during the course of a competition or at the critical moment of the rise.
